WEBN Platform Membership Policy for New Members
Updated 2025 – 2026 (WEBN Term 8.0)

Eligibility Criteria: New Member
Registered Business: Must be a woman entrepreneur with a business registered under a local or national government act.
Minimum Business Duration: The business must be registered or operational for at least 6 months.
Age Requirement: Applicants must be between 18 and 60 years of age.
Exclusive Membership
- Membership approval is solely at the discretion of the Founder and Co-Founder of WEBN, based on eligibility
- Membership fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.

- In case of chapter transfer due to emergency, a minimum transfer fee of ₹2,500 will be applicable (for transfers within WEBN).
- Membership fees are subject to an annual increase of 10% to 15% from the start of each financial year
- Meeting fees are subject to increase based on the venue, facilities, and associated costs.
- Meeting fees vary from chapter to chapter .
Commitment
- Members must commit to attending monthly business meetings for a minimum of 1 year.

Category Availability
Membership is subject to availability of the business category in the respective WEBN Goa chapter.
A maximum of two members may be permitted in the same category , depending on specialization , expertise , resources and logistics .
Active Participation
- Members are expected to attend all WEBN meetings and networking
- Priority must be given to providing referrals and recommendations within your own chapter first, before extending to others.
Collaborative Spirit
- Members should be open to collaborate within their own chapter, cross-chapters, and even cross- border WEBN chapters.

Dress Code
- Business formals with a blazer are mandatory for all official WEBN business
- A fine of ₹200 will be charged for failure to comply with the dress
Orientation Process
Every new member must complete the following four onboarding steps within 60 days of joining: 1. Orientation

- Business Presentation
Business Category Policy
- Members cannot change their registered business category or add new products/services
during the membership term.
- Promotion of other businesses to WEBN members is strictly not allowed.
Attendance Policy
- If a member is absent for three consecutive meetings in a quarter, their registered business category will be reopened for new

All members must adhere strictly to WEBN’s policies, guidelines, and code of conduct.
